Lewispalooza

As for the details:

Tuesday Night:

Lewis has graciously agreed to have his place be the meeting place for those leaving from Harrisburg. Based on talking with some of you, some won't be able to get there till later in the evening. (After we watch Lost, tuck wife and/or kids in, etc.)

Who's Bringing What:

Treats- Ty and I did some pre-trip shopping yesterday, so depending on how much room I have left in my check-in bag, we can split up an accessory or two. (i.e. snacks, booze, cigars, etc.)

PS3- I believe Ty is bringing his. Steve and myself will bring extra controllers. There was talk of Rose packing his Rock Band mic. Rose can you make that happen?

Air Mattresses- Last I checked, if you have one and can fit it, pack it. I believe Ty and Anthony are bringing theirs. You can quote me on this. I'll be fine with some cushions or the couch. (or a sturdy window sill)

Straight Cash Homey- Self explanatory. Bring what you feel comfortable using. Some of us are bigger degenerates than others.

White Jeans/ Satchels- Optional. (but highly recommended)

Tournament Challenge: Rose is possibly looking to make a tournament challenge for us online somewhere. Look for an email from him in the near future and get your picks in. We'll decide daily incentives for best bracket of day. (or we'll be too wasted to follow through on any of these ideas)

6:03 A.M. - Harrisburg Flight (Continental Airlines 8664) departs to Newark, NJ

6:05 A.M.- Lewis's second yack.

7:00 A.M.- Arrive in Newark, NJ

7:35 A.M.- Depart Newark, NJ (Continental Airlines 768 ) for Vegas (baby).

10:14 A.M.- Arrive in Vegas. (Vegas Time)

10:15 A.M.- Pure Unbridled Mayhem

Squeeze Play

The next "major" hurdle that we have to figure out is what us Harrisburg leaving folk are doing the night before the flight. We had talked about getting together the night before so we could take one vehicle to airport and all arrive on time*.

*hopefully...depending on nights activities.

A few of us currently have our baseball draft at 8 p.m. that night. Is there any chance, that we can get packed and arrive at a mutual location to draft and then hang out the rest of the night to be ready to go to the airport the next morning?

These are the questions that need answered. These and a few others:

1. Norm. I wasn't copied and/or didn't receive your big email replying to my last post.
1a. I buy all my white t's pre-yellow-pitted out.
1b. I know these aren't really questions.
1c. Stop judging me.

2. First, H-burg peoples, we need to gauge interest in converging night before flight.

3. Second, do we converge in time to draft together?

4. Third, where are we converging?

5. Drafting in banana hammock or not?

6. Any interest in me password protecting site so we can limit visibility to just friends? (i.e. when we post a pic of Dave yacking in the lobby he won't lose business?)

7. Will Norm be able to gain access to site if we password protect it?

8. Should I challenge Rose to a sweater-off?

We have a week to finalize these pressing issues. Lets start brainstorming.

Bare Necessities

At some point we should decide who is bringing what. Those with LV experience I'll look for some advice.

Here are some random items, please give input as to their importance:

1. Liquor to keep in room- Cheaper to bring a bottle or buy there? Maybe everyone bring a bottle of their favorite? Need input on this one.
2. Air mattresses?- Do we want to bring an air mattress or two? Depending on floor, I can sleep on anything (windowsill, etc.) But four days on floor might be rough.
3. PS3- This is probably a no brainer. Whoever brings PS3, can we get others to bring controls?
4. PS3 games- As video game Czar, I'm going to need assistance bringing the latest games. NCAA 10 (Ty, Lewis?) Etc.
5. Breakfast Bars/ Snacks?- Again, not being a veteran of Vegas, is it necessary to pack something like this to keep in room, or is it easy to purchase something there?
6. Dress Clothes- One set of something other than jeans and sweatshirts or more?
7. iPod dock- For iPod game, obviously.
8. Bathing suit and/or loin cloth?- No clue? Do we have a pool? Is it warm enough out?
9. First cycle of herpes medicine- Self explanatory.
10. Roofies- ditto.

Please expand on my list. Updates will be posted. Need some direction and then we can start assigning responsibilities.

...and of course we're referring to Tom Jones or Sigfried and Roy shows when we refer to adult entertainment. *

First Blood

This is a no-brainer. First poll to be added shortly.

And so it begins...

Instead of crossing streams with Low Light Years, I thought it might be nice to start something fresh and mainly specific to the Vegas trip. (which is approaching at light speed) (coincidentally, the same speed that I jog at) Maybe I'll keep it afterwards so it will be specific to all things we do...fantasy league stuff, parties, put some hockey pictures up, etc. We'll see. It will be a work in progress or at the very least prevent someone else from acquiring the highly sought after blog title.

I know some have been requesting some interactive poll's to be established, and those will be forthcoming. We're simply trying to figure out a way that Rose won't win every vote in a landslide.

I figure we'll also use this space to map out some sort of game plan leading up to the trip. Who's bringing what? (booze, ps3, etc... )(satchels and/or rapies optional)

I'll do my best to add new content until the trip, but I'm a huge slacker. In fact, our first poll should be over/ under how many posts I actually end up posting before Vegas. Ideas for drinking games, and other content will be greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone is as pumped for Vegas as I am. At the very least, I hope you got your rocks off looking at Robocop riding a Unicorn.
